Q.When is the lastest time I can buy and pay for a balloon for next day delivery? A.All balloons bought and paid for by 13:00hrs (1:00pm) will be sent the same day. Balloons bought and paid for after this time will be despatched the following day!!

Q. How are the balloons delivered?
A. In a large box, fully sealed with tissue, confetti and when applicable free gifts (see Eshop for details).

Q. Who delivers your balloons?
A. All balloons are delivered by Royal Mail.

Q. At what time will my balloons be delivered?
A. Delivers are guaranteed before 1pm. However if you require your balloon be delivered before 9am please phone the shop as addition postage costs will apply.

Q. Can I get an afternoon delivery?
A. Sorry, this is not available.

Q. What happens if nobody is home?
A. A card will be left giving instructions on where to collect the box or how to arrange re-delivery with Royal Mail.

Q. Can the box be left in a porch or doorway?
A. No, sorry. The box requires a signature on delivery and cannot be left without one.

Q. I need a signature to prove this was delivered, can I get one?
A. Yes, but this takes about 3-5 days to arrive.

Q. I need to change the address/message/other details. Can I do this after the order has been confirmed?
A. Yes, we are more than happy to change anything. However we can only do this as long as the box has not been despatched.

Q. My box is being delivered today. I need to change the address. Is this possible?
A. No, an address cannot be altered after the box has been despatched.

Q. Can you guarantee a Saturday delivery with Special Delivery option?
A. No. We do send balloons for Saturdays but this is not a guaranteed delivery day. If your balloon does not arrive on the Saturday it will be delivered on the next Monday. (Not Bank Holidays). Balloons to residential areas for Saturdays stand about 80-90% of arriving. There is less chance of a balloon arriving to a business address; you would be best advised to opt for a weekday delivery.

Q. If I want to send a gift anonymously, is this possible?
A. Yes, no information other than your message for the card is ever passed to recipients.

Q. Can you guarantee exact day deliveries for British Forces PO numbers?
A. BFPO deliveries cannot be guaranteed to arrive on the exact day selected.

Q. Can you deliver outside mainland UK?
A. Dewhurst's Gifts & Celebration Balloons are sorry, but at present we are unable to offer a delivery service for Balloon In A Box outside mainland UK.
